AnTARES: a separate path for the visitor who already wants to say yes

AnTARES is a Ghent student rocketry team with two audiences to win: engineers who want to join, and companies being asked to sponsor. Their site gives each its own path, good for 15 leads in the first three weeks we measured.

01 · The challenge

One site, two very different readers

AnTARES is a team of 25+ engineers and computer scientists from Ghent, putting Belgium on the map in student rocketry. In October 2026 they compete at the European Rocketry Challenge in Portugal.

Their site has to convince two readers at once: companies being asked to sponsor, and students who want to join. One generic contact form would treat them the same.

  • Sponsors need confidence. A company considering sponsorship needs a site serious enough to say yes to.

  • Students need a way in. Engineers who want to join need their own route and their own message.

  • An international stage. Partners and the jury at EuRoC read English, not Dutch.

Professional enough for serious sponsors, accessible enough for students who want to join.

02 · Our approach

Route every visitor by intent

This project aligned so closely with our own convictions that we chose to support the initiative and build the platform together.

We mapped the audiences and gave each its own path: a dedicated sponsors page, a team page, and separate contact routes by purpose instead of one inbox. The site is in English, because the stage it plays on is international.

  1. Strategy

Audiences mapped, each with the one thing we want them to do.

  2. Structure

Dedicated sponsor and team pages, with contact routes split by purpose.

  3. Design

A positioning as Belgium's most innovative and sustainable student rocketry team.

  4. Build

A new site the team keeps up to date on its own.

03 · Key decisions

Three decisions that shaped the site

A page for sponsors

Companies considering sponsorship get a page built for them, so the visitor who already wants to say yes doesn't have to dig.

Contact by purpose

Separate routes for applications, partnerships and the board (apply@, partner@, bestuur@) instead of one generic form.

English first

The jury, partners and the rocketry community at EuRoC are international, so the site is too.

04 · What we built

A platform as serious as the engineering

A new site, built from scratch, positioning AnTARES as Belgium's most innovative and sustainable student rocketry team. A separate path per audience, each with its own contact point, on a site the team keeps up to date on its own.

05 · The results

The most interested visitors reach out most

We started measuring on 25 September 2026. In the first three weeks, the site brought in 15 leads, split across the contact form and three email addresses, one per purpose.

The sponsors page shows what a separate path does. Every visitor there is already a company considering sponsorship, and 3 of the first 7 got in touch. It is a small sample, but on the homepage 1.3% of visitors get in touch and on the team page 9.3%: the closer a page matches what the visitor came for, the more of them reach out.

Search is growing too: 603 visits from Google in the last 90 days, up from 206 in the 90 before.
