This Cookie Policy explains how Luniq (Homiq BV) uses cookies and similar technologies on luniq.io and the Luniq Platform. For information about how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Except for strictly necessary cookies and the third-party content noted in section 6, we store or read cookies and similar technologies on your device only with your consent, in line with GDPR and the EU ePrivacy rules.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to make websites work, improve performance, or provide analytics and marketing insights. We also use similar technologies like localStorage, sessionStorage, and, where relevant, pixel tags.

3. How we use cookies

Strictly necessary (essential): enable core functionality such as security, session management, and consent storage. These cannot be turned off.

Functional (preferences): remember choices (e.g., language, form progress) to provide enhanced features.

Analytics: help us understand how our site is used (e.g., Google Analytics) so we can improve performance and content.

Marketing: used to measure campaigns or deliver/limit advertising. (Only applicable if such tags are present and consented.)

The legal basis for essential cookies is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning service. All other categories rely on your consent.

5.2 Functional (preferences)

Currently, we do not use any functional cookies. This section will be updated if functional cookies are implemented in the future.

5.3 Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics (GA4). It loads with analytics storage denied by default and only sets the cookies below after you opt in. Separately, we run Orbit, our own first-party analytics, which collects only anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as page views, time on page and visitor counts). Orbit sets no cookies, does not track you across websites and does not identify you, so it does not rely on cookies or consent.

Note: If any legacy Universal Analytics tags are present, the _gat cookie (1 minute) may also appear.

5.4 Marketing

We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies or pixels (such as Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or Google Ads). If we ever introduce any, they will be listed here and will load only after you opt in.

6. Third-party cookies

Some pages embed third-party services that may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when the content loads. These are: Google Analytics (analytics, consent based), Mux (the video player used on our homepage) and Google Maps (the map embedded on our contact page).

Where these involve transfers outside the EEA (for example to the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of processors and safeguards.
